Belmont Court - Clued Up Kids |
| Event Description: | Year 6 children from Lake Macquarie have spent several weeks investigating a fictitious crime. During Law week they will attend the Court and present their "case" to an expert panel comprimising Magistrate Swanson (retired) Warren Perram Solicitor, Senior Constable Harvey and Renae Johnson DAGJ. The winner will be chosen based on correct identification of the offender, supporting evidence and creativity. This school will be awarded the "Nicole harvey Trophy" for 2011.Schools from across NSW will also complete the project by correspondence, and judged seperately Participating schools are also invited to submit entries in the Law Week art Competition, to be judged by acclaimed local artist Rhonda Parcel |
